I am the founder and president of Black Girls Do Science! Growing up, I actually wanted to be a meteorologist and went to every science camp I could! Usually, I was the only black girl in these camps. I didn’t want that to be for other girls. That a scientist can be anyone! I founded Black Girls Do Science in 2013 to inspire young black girls that they too can be scientists and engineers! Thanks for also wanting to be a part of this movement! We have more work to do.
